How does Pageseal work with WooCommerce?
- Install the pluginUpload the Pageseal plugin and activate it. Requirements: WordPress 6.5 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer, WooCommerce active.
- Connect your accountIn WooCommerce › Pageseal, enter your API key and webhook secret. Nothing leaves your site before that.
- Upload the bookOpen a product, go to the Pageseal tab, upload the EPUB, PDF or audiobook and read the check report.
- Go liveSwitch the book live. From now on every paid order creates one personal copy per item.
When is the copy created?
Only when the payment is confirmed (status Processing or Completed). Bank transfers on hold create no copy until they are paid. Purely digital orders complete by themselves. If an order is cancelled, refunded in full or deleted, the download links are blocked; if it is paid again, they open again without a second copy.
What do buyers see?
A download block on the thank-you page and in My Account, a link in the WooCommerce order email and a delivery email from Pageseal. No password and no extra app; the file opens in any reader.
What does it cost?
The same plans as on Shopify, billed monthly through Stripe by Orbita Media GmbH: $15, $79 or $299 a month with included copies, or the free plan with 5 free copies once, then $0.75 per copy. The plugin itself is free software under the GPL.
